Terms of Service

By applying for a commission from me, you agree to reading, understanding, and following my T.O.S. Please familiarize yourself with these terms and conditions of service. If you do not agree, please do not commission me. Breaking these terms may result in barring from future services or other penalties.

General Information

  • My Terms of Service (T.O.S.) may update at any given point of time. Updated T.O.S. applies to all artwork, new and old.
  • Colored, visual reference of the character to draw is needed to begin.
  • The commissioner must be of 18 years or older.
  • I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason regardless of whether or not the reason is disclosed.
  • Always credit my artwork if re-posting to any media. A watermarked version will be provided for posting, if desired. 
  • My artwork, personal, commissioned, or otherwise, may NOT be used as an NFT. You, as the commissioner agree to NOT use this work in any way, shape, or form of or relating to non-fungible tokens or any cryptocurrency through reproduction, association, or otherwise. It is not permitted and maintains strict zero tolerance. 
  • By commissioning me, you are paying for my time and my services to create a custom artwork for you, which does not include the rights to the piece. My artwork remains in my intellectual property. Your ownership of the custom-made piece is limited and will be explained to you within this document.
  • I am a college student with a part time job and commissions. Please understand that wait times are a regular occurrence but updates will always be given!
  • A commission may be refunded, voided, or canceled at any time due to reasons including but not limited to:
    • Violation or break of TOS, agreed-upon written discussion, breach of trust, misconduct/misdemeanour or any unsolicited behaviours from the client, discomfort with topic proposed or expressed in artwork (i.e incest, pedophilia, certain fetishes, racism, sexism, hate-crime/hate-speech etc), continued/prolonged periods of no-response without explanation or communication, and etc.

Terms for Use of Work & Copyright/Usage

  • Commissioned artwork is for personal use only unless otherwise discussed. Commercial use is not permitted without previous discussion and approval.
  • No physical work will be delivered unless otherwise discussed: Digital files only
  • As the artist, I maintain the right to the created artwork. The rights to me include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Post/display/promote across any platforms of my choosing
    • Promotional advertising
    • Publish in books, magazines, websites, etc.
    • Portfolio usage
  • As the commissioner, you may:
    • Repost the artwork with proper credits/links with no profit or advertisement purposes. Reposts absolutely must be watermarked and I, the artist, must be tagged or credited.
    • You may create personal prints, pins, badges, of the work for yourself and only yourself. (I’d love to see them!)
    • Cropping for icons, banners, etc. is allowed with credit on personal social media accounts.
  • As the commissioner, you may not:
    • Change, modify, or trace my works without permission.
      • For personal and learning/study purposes, I welcome commissioners to reference, trace, collage, color in sketches, and/or use for memes/satirical purposes in only private settings without means for profit or monetary gain. Posting is allowed with explicit, discussed, and written permission and with credit or not posted at all. Original, unedited artwork must also always be easily accessible/viewable accompanying the post.
    • Reproduce the copyrighted work commercially:
      • Take credit for the artwork or post the artwork anywhere without credit to me, the artist
Will Draw
  • Furry/Anthro, monsters, animals, species (open & closed), beasts, etc.
  • Fluffy gore (candy, fruit, crystal, rainbow, etc.) & bruises, cuts, things like nosebleeds
  • Suggestive, flirty, slightly risque (mild)
  • Artistic, tasteful nudity
Won't Draw
  • Humans (at the moment)
  • Sexually explicit content/kink related content
  • Hateful content such as transphobia, objectification or fetishization of genders, races, or communities, and more.
  • Excessive gore/blood, violence such as torture, or death

Payments & Fees

  • Up front payment is expected and an invoice will be sent then paid by the commissioner before work begins.
  • I accept payment via Stripe with paypal as an alternative.     
  • USD only unless otherwise specified.
  • Do not pay until I approve a commission form!
Fees
  • Fees are calculated on a case by case basis. Quotes can be discussed before applying for a slot if you’re interested but unsure!
    • Rush fees for work under time limits may be discussed.
    • Commercial use fees vary and must be discussed.
    • Complexity fees depend on both the art type and the character’s design. Generally, mecha, armor, complex clothing or intricate patterns/details call for up-charge.
    • Props will incur fees depending on complexity, interactions, & commission type.

Changes & Refunds

  • Changes should be addressed by the commissioner as early as possible in the earliest stages of the commission
  • Unless important details present on the completed reference of the commission at the time of acceptance are missed in the final piece, no larger changes will be made without incurring a fee.
  • If you need a refund for any reason (emergency, sudden bills, crisis), please contact me for discussion as soon as possible.
    • Refunds may not be given the day of the discussion due to personal circumstances and expenses.
    • Only partial refunds will be available for commissions that have been started. The amount will depend on the commission’s progress.
    • A full refund or cancellation may be requested if no progress has been made on your commission in 6 or more months
    • Refunds are not available for doodles, sketch commissions, and commissions past the flat colored phase.

Commission Information

Process
  • My commissions start in the Queue tab of my trello. As I begin working, status labels and checklist updates will reflect my progress.
  • I often begin working by starting with a warm up (which may be posted) and then on the commissions in the following steps:
  • Sketching poses > Finalizing sketch > Sketch approval > Lining > Flats > Shading or finishing touches > Finishing touches
  • Commissions may not be completed in order, but rest assured it is being worked on!
  • Upon completion, you will receive a signed, completed version, a version with a background (varies), and a transparent background piece (if applicable).
WIPs & Turnaround time
  • 1 - 3 months in most cases depending on the piece, expect contact for any delays.
    • This estimated time restriction does not apply to trades!
  • My work progress may be tracked on my trello. It will be updated consistently.
  • If you would like more WIPs other than the first, initial sketch for approval, please let me know.
  • For every update, I will inform you, the commissioner, and/or update your specified trello card accordingly
  • Rejected design concepts and sketch options may be recycled or reused.
  • I am a fulltime college student and a part-time employee on campus. My turn-around time reduces significantly during the semester.
Ordering
  • At the moment one slot is equivalent to one art type per person. (1 sketch fullbody = one slot just as one doodle = one slot)
  • At the moment, I accept commission orders via Twitter, Toyhouse, or Deviantart. In the future other medias may be included.

Design T.O.S. & Adoptables
  • Once bought it is yours to do as you please
  • Commercial rights must be discussed (no advertisement, merch, banners, etc without approval of commercial use)(It will incur a fee and I will still require credit)
  • Redesign til your heart’s content but please keep the original design available for viewing at all times with proper credit
  • You may resell/trade/gift however you wish. While not a requirement, I ask that you do not purchase a design to only profit off of it.
  • Co-ownership is permitted but is NOT in my hands. I will not become involved in any disputes that may arise.
  • Do not copy, trace, breed, or reproduce my designs and/or adoptables.
  • While I welcome inspiration, please be respectful of the design owner’s character development.
